Welcome to Laos!

On arrival at Luang Prabang International Airport, you will be greeted by our airport representative, who will provide the private vehicle transfer to your hotel. Traditionally known as the Kingdom of a Million Elephants, Laos is blessed with a verdant countryside, glittering Buddhist temples, languid village life and gentle people. Years of isolation from the wider world have helped preserve Laos’ peaceful nature and allow a glimpse into a quieter time.

This morning pack your swimsuit for a unique swimming experience at the spectacular Kuang Si Falls. Water tumbles over limestone rocks into numerous turquoise pools that are used as natural swimming holes, and it’s refreshingly chilly and impossible to resist! On the way back to Luang Prabang, stop for a walk around a local village. On our return to Luang Prabang, visit Wat Xieng Thong, which was built in 1560 and is situated on the banks of the Mekong River. It is the most beautiful monastery in Luang Prabang. It features the typical Lao art style with old religious artifacts and some ancient masterpieces of Lao art. During the sunset, we will climb Mount Phousi and visit Wat Vinsunalat, That Makmo and Wat Aham.

This morning enjoy a boat tour on the mighty Mekong River to the Pak Ou Caves, where you will visit Tham Ting and Tham Phum. On the way, we’ll visit Ban Xang Hai village. Further sightseeing in Luang Prabang in the afternoon, including the National Museum, Wat Mai, Wat Sibounheuang, Wat Si Moungkhoun, Wat Sop and Wat Saen.

After breakfast, drive through a stunning landscape to Vang Vieng, along with rice fields and small villages. Upon arrival, visit the Tham Chang caves in Vang Vieng.

This morning continue your journey and drive to Vientiane. In the afternoon, we will enjoy sightseeing around the capital and visit Wat Sisaket, Ho Phrakeo, Patoutaxi and the That Luang Stupa.

Enjoy your last few hours at leisure in Vientiane before you meet your guide in the hotel foyer, who will provide the private vehicle transfer to Vientiane Wattay International Airport for your onward flight.
