Tour Description

Day 1 – Bangkok to Kanchanaburi – This morning you will be collected from your hotel in the early morning and embark on the drive to Kanchanaburi province (128 kms to the west of Bangkok). On arrival visit the Thailand-Burma Railway Centre, an interactive museum, information and research facility dedicated to presenting the history of the Thailand-Burma Railway. Proceed to the Allied War Cemetery, the resting-place for more than 6,000 Allied prisoners of war (POWS). Visit the world famous Bridge over the River Kwai, a part of Death Railway constructed by Allied POWs. On arrival at Hintok River Camp, you will check-in and enjoy lunch. At the completion of lunch continue to Hell Fire Pass Memorial Museum, before enjoy some trekking along the Hellfire Pass Walking Trails from Hellfire Pass to Hintok Station. The mini bus will then collect you and return you to Hintok River Camp for the evening. Day 2 – River Kwai – For the early risers enjoy a morning bike ride across a hanging bridge to the temple for merit making by giving food to monks. Check out the camp and enjoy a long-tailed boat to get River Kwai Jungle Rafts to visit the ethnic Mon Tribal Village. In the mid afternoon arrive at the River Kwai Resotel and then enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure. ( B, L & D )

Day 3 – Return to Bangkok –  Enjoy this morning at your own leisure before checking out and enjoying lunch at a local restaurant. At the completion of lunch, enjoy a historic ride on Death Railway Train passing over original wooden viaduct constructed by Allied POWs. At the conclusion of they visit you will be returned to Bangkok in the early evening. (B, L)
