This evening at 6.00pm you will meet your guide in the hotel foyer and embark on 3 hour night tour of Taipei. The first destination tonight to visit is Longshan Temple. Famous for worshiping Guanshiyin Budda and other divine spirits, its architecture is a three-section design in shape and the temple was built in Qianlong 5th year in Qing Dynasty. The temple has many Chinese poems, verses and lyrics on signs and these add a touch of literature in addition to the religious and sightseeing value. On each 1st and 15th day each month of lunar year, regular visitors will come to the temple for worship ceremony. Continue on to Taipei 101, amongst the tallest building’s in the world. Offering amazing views of Taipei, with a mass of shops on the lower floors, ┬áit incorporates many top brands under the LVMH group, such as Louis Vuitton, Dior, Celine, etc. The fourth floor houses the Page One bookstore from Singapore, and it is home to the highest-roofed coffee house in Taipei in addition to many fine restaurants. Proceed to the final destination of the evening, Huaxi (Huasi) Street Night Market. The night market, together with night markets on Guangzhou Street, Wuzhou Street and Xichang Street, has formed a large unique market. Various commodities are sold here and it is one of the favored sites of tourists, and Chinese traditional lamps are hung along the street. There are old, historical shops along the street that provide great dishes, such as the Danzai noodle restaurant, the favorite of Japanese tourists, started its business here. Other great dishes like meat soup and squid soup attract many people and in the summer, chopped ice plates and fresh juice are in great demand whilst in the winter, dishes with Chinese medicine attract many visitors.

At the end of the evening you may choose to enjoy Taipei as you please and find your own way back to the hotel, or if you prefer, we will transfer you back immediately after visiting the last place on the tour.
